$475
Schema markup is structured data that tells search engines and AI assistants exactly who you are, what you offer and who wrote what. I implement it across your site for $475 and check every page type against Google’s Rich Results Test. I work in person around Worcester County, Boston and New England, and remotely for anyone else.
Why it matters now
Search results are no longer just ten blue links. Google shows rich results such as breadcrumbs, article details and business information, and AI tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews summarize pages before anyone clicks. Both work better when your pages say clearly, in a machine-readable way, what they are. That’s what answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) mean in practice.
What I implement
- Person or Organization: who is behind the site, linked to your social profiles and the people who write for you
- Article: author, publish and update dates on your posts
- BreadcrumbList: where each page sits in your site
- FAQ and HowTo: on pages that genuinely answer questions or give steps
- Service and local business details, where they apply
An honest note: Google now shows FAQ rich results for only a few kinds of sites and has retired HowTo results. I still use those types where they describe the page accurately, because they help AI tools understand it, but I won’t promise a rich result Google no longer gives.
How it works
- I review the markup your site already outputs. Themes and SEO plugins often add some, and duplicates cause problems.
- I add or fix the markup, usually through your SEO plugin or theme so it stays in place after updates.
- I test each page type with Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator.
This site runs the same setup: one Person entity that every article points to as its author.

Common questions
How much does schema markup cost?
$475 to implement and test the markup above across your site.
Will schema get me rich results?
It makes you eligible. Google decides what to show, and it shows fewer types than it used to. Valid, accurate markup is the requirement either way.
I already have an SEO plugin. Do I still need this?
Often yes. SEO plugins add basic markup, but they don’t know who your authors are, what your services cost or how your pages relate. I build on what the plugin outputs instead of duplicating it.
